At Pacific Avenue Veterinary Clinic every member or our team has a deep understanding of the bond between humans and our pets. All of us are devoted to providing the high level of care we would expect and select for our own pets.
Our veterinarian, Dr. Sid Bruckert-Frisk, DVM (Dr. Sid to his staff and clients) graduated from Iowa State University of Science and Technology in 1987. Since 1998, he has been providing excellent veterinary care to his community of loyal clientele here in Forest Grove, Oregon. One quality about Dr. Sid, is his ability to always explain treatments or a diagnosis in terms that are easy to understand. Dr. Sid's friendly and inviting nature offer a comfortable relationship for his clientele to get questions answered or seek advice. Dr. Sid provides veterinary services most often to dogs and cats but he also provides care for pocket pets. Dr. Sid is not only an animal enthusiast but he is also enthusiastic about the outdoors. He loves taking his family (including their dog) on hikes, camping, canoeing and rafting trips but his very favorite is biking. You may even see him biking to work. So walk, drive, hike or bike on into Pacific Avenue Veterinary Clinic and meet him today. You and your pet(s) will be glad you did!
Dr. Scott Oeffner is from nearby Gaston, OR and grew up helping on his family farm. He and his wife Anna have 4 young children, 4 cats and a variety of farm animals! Dr. Oeffner attended Oregon State University and received a Master’s in Animal Nutrition in 2011 and in 2017 graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He came to us from a clinic in Sweet Home and the staff here at Pacific are thrilled to welcome him to the team. He is the perfect fit as he shares in the same philosophy of making the care of your pets easy to understand. Dr. Scott (as the team calls him) has a great sense of humor but at the same time is enthusiastic, compassionate, thorough and dedicated to the best care possible. (It makes for a great work day!) Dr. Scott has a special interest in surgery and ultrasound. We are excited for all of our new and existing clients to share in our excitement of having another caring Veterinarian on staff.
